The tire iron is a melee weapon in Fallout 4.

Characteristics

A basic melee weapon found very early on, just across the bridge from Sanctuary. It is better than the starting security baton, with lower AP cost per swing and slightly better damage. If upgraded with the Bladed mod (requires Blacksmith rank 2), it becomes a respectable early-mid game melee weapon.
