Detailed walkthrough[]
“For today's quality test, Biv wants me to test out the effects of a drink on my S.P.E.C.I.A.L. characteristics. I should complete the task he assigned me while under the effects of the specified drink. What could go wrong?”
Biv will ask the player character to drink a specific type of alcoholic beverage and then perform some S.P.E.C.I.A.L. themed task before its effects expire (typically 3 minutes). If the player character doesn't already have the beverage in their inventory, they'll need to find or craft it first.
- Strength: Kill an enemy with a melee attack.
- Perception: Kill an enemy with a ranged attack.
- Endurance: Eat spoiled food.
- Charisma: Buy from a vendor.
- Intelligence: Craft an item.
- Agility: Land a sneak attack.
- Luck: Land a critical hit.
After completing the task, report back to Biv to complete the quest.

- This daily quest alternates with Wasted on Alcohol. Each day Biv is visited, there is a 50% chance of being given either quest, as long as all the recipes given by Wasted on Alcohol have not been learned. However, if Biv has given two Tipsy Taste-Test quests in a row, then Wasted On is guaranteed. Once all the Wasted On recipes are learned, only Tipsy Taste-Test will be given from then on.
- Biv may reward the player character with a recipe they already know, or a recipe that requires an ingredient they cannot produce yet (e.g. Lead champagne Bellini).
Bugs[]
As of the Skyline Valley update, players who have previously completed this daily quest are unable to receive it again from Biv.[verified]
