Timothy "Tim" Lamb is a developer who worked at Bethesda Game Studios on Fallout 3 as a producer, as well as a senior producer on Fallout 4. He also worked on Fallout 76 as an additional producer.
Career[]
Work on the Fallout series[]
Fallout 3 was Lamb's first full role on a new game at Bethesda as a producer. When Emil Pagliarulo sought ideas for "scrap-type" weapons to add to the game, Lamb suggested a weapon that shot railway spikes. This idea was implemented by other developers as the railway rifle.[1]
On Fallout 4, Lamb was credited as a senior producer; he was chiefly involved with the development of that game's revamped and improved gunplay. He also worked with the team that was developing Dogmeat's companion functionality.[1]
On Fallout 76, Lamb was instead credited as an additional producer. He participated in playtest sessions for the game.[1]
Other work[]
Lamb began his video game development career in quality assurance, and led that team on The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Afterwards, Lamb moved into the production role, including for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Lamb was credited as a lead producer on Starfield, specifically with the role of lead creative producer.[1]
