Tim was an employee of the Bysshe Company at the Big Meadows gas well before the Great War.
Background[]
Tim worked at the gas well with site foreman Richard Harrison, who was somewhat computer-illiterate; Richard frequently spilled coffee on his terminal and struggled to understand the meaning of "bugs" in his terminal.[1] As a result, Richard would have to use deputy foreman Nathan Davidson's terminal,[2] while Nathan sent in a request for Tim to repair Richard's terminal. On one occasion, Nathan had to call Tim in on his day off to fix Richard's terminal, but Nathan promised to buy Tim a beer after work to make up for it.[3] Tim attempted to explain to Richard that the terminals were not coffee-proof and promised to have the terminal working by Monday, once he retrieved some parts from the office.[1]
Additionally, Tim told Richard that he had seen a suspicious new hire, Harold Osborne, "skulking" around the work site, claiming that he had left some tools at the top of the extractor tower. Tim also heard from Barry that Harold had been acting strange lately, and thus decided to report it to the foreman. Unbeknownst to Tim, Harold was in reality an assassin affiliated with the federal government.[1]

At the Big Meadows gas well, there is a skeleton holding a screwdriver, seemingly working on the foreman terminal, on which the note for Tim is attached. This seems to indicate that the skeleton may be Tim's, and that he died while repairing Richard's terminal.
