I saw some figures at a distance and could tell immediately something was wrong. Didn’t get close enough for a good look, but they looked bloated and sort of waddled when they walked. Like huge fat guys that could barely stand. But the bunch of them sort of toddling together looked really wrong so I stayed clear.Les

Tickers are gormless, diseased humans wandering the wasteland.

Background[]

These unfortunate denizens of the wasteland have become infected by what is presumed to be a strain of the Forced Evolutionary Virus carried by ticks.[1]

Characteristics[]

These people have bloated to a huge size and waddle around in small groups. They are highly contagious, passing on disease simply by being in close proximity, but how they react in direct contact lacks a first hand account.[2]

Locations[]

Tickers are found south of a town only ever identified as TS.[3] Les sees the creatures from a distance when setting off.[2]

Appearances[]

Tickers are mentioned in volume 1 of The Armageddon Rag, and appear in the short story "Menkey Butte Mine" in volume 4. It is unknown whether the creatures were to appear in Fallout Online.

Bodies bloat up and spread disease when you get close. Since there were several of them together, looks like it spreads fast.
