I saw some figures at a distance and could tell immediately something was wrong. Didn’t get close enough for a good look, but they looked bloated and sort of waddled when they walked. Like huge fat guys that could barely stand. But the bunch of them sort of toddling together looked really wrong so I stayed clear.Les

Tickers are creatures mentioned in Interplay's promotional newsletter for Fallout Online, the Armageddon Rag.

Background[edit | edit source]

The origin of these creatures is unknown, though they are guessed as being the result of a mutated tick-borne virus.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Tickers appear to be a highly bloated form of mutated human.

Locations[edit | edit source]

Tickers are found south of a town only ever identified as TS.[1] Les sees the creatures from a distance when leaving the town.

Appearances[edit | edit source]

Tickers are mentioned in volume 1 of The Armageddon Rag, and appear in the short story "Menkey Butte Mine" in volume 4. It is unknown whether the creatures were to appear in Fallout Online.
