Thomas Jefferson was a founding father and the third president of the United States, as well as one of the signatories on the Declaration of Independence, and its principal author.
Background[]
Jefferson Rock, a geological formation in Harpers Ferry, was named as such after Jefferson's visit to the landmark in 1783.[2] The Jefferson Memorial, a 20th-century monument built in Jefferson's honor, is the site of Project Purity.
Jefferson appears as an answer to a pop quiz question in the National Archives' terminals as the principal author of the Declaration of Independence. Jefferson is also the correct answer to a question in the Codebreaker exam at the Pioneer Scout camp, having been a Founding Father who invented a disk cipher.[3] In their handbook, the Pioneer Scouts cited Thomas Jefferson and Meriwether Lewis as role models.[4]

- The TJEFF002 Thomas Jefferson Unit in the National Archives was a protectron actor in the signing of the Declaration of Independence reenactment.[5] This unit played the part of Thomas Jefferson of Virginia, the primary author of the Declaration of Independence and future President of the United States of America.[5]
