Things to Come! is a challenge in the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Dead Money.

Challenge requirements

“Heard where your travels might take you in the future... all the way to the end of the road.”— Challenge description

The Courier must choose specific dialogue options and/or achieve specific quest outcomes during Dead Money that leads to them learning about future events in and around the Mojave Wasteland.

Completion flags

There are a total of four potential triggers for the challenge in Dead Money,^note with each one's circumstances as follows:

• During Last Luxuries, when speaking with Christine in the master suite of the executive suites, one must ask her about how long she has been hunting Elijah and a previous encounter with a courier.
• During Heist of the Centuries, when speaking with him via the holo-screen in the Sierra Madre vault, one must ask Elijah about the source of his explosives collars, then selecting the option to question him about the Big Empty.
• Complete Put the Beast Down by merging Dog and God into a unified third personality, then witness the ending of Dead Money.
• Complete Last Luxuries by keeping Christine alive, then witness the ending of Dead Money.

This challenge is not repeatable.

Bugs

• ^ ^note PC Due to the fact that the challenge completion threshold is set to five, yet only four triggers are present in the game, this challenge is essentially unattainable without exploiting vanilla bugs, or installing bugfixes that reduce the threshold to four. However, a completion point may be given for every individual line of text rather than per slide.
• Playstation 3 Xbox 360 When playing through and hearing the triggers, nothing will happen, and the challenge won't even appear in the Pip-Boy.^[verified]
• PC When Christine's slide is playing, all triggers may apparently happen immediately, causing the challenge to complete.^[verified]
• PC Playstation 3 Xbox 360 When Dog's slide is playing, all triggers may apparently happen immediately, causing the challenge to complete. ^[verified]
