Thermal coating is a power armor shielding mod in Fallout 4.
Characteristics[]
When equipped on an X-01 power armor piece, it gains a temporary +20 Energy Resistance.
Crafting[]
In order to craft the thermal coating mod, a power armor frame with the desired piece attached, must be installed at a power armor station.

Locations[]
The thermal coating modification will not appear as loot, nor is it sold by any merchants in the game. It can only be obtained via crafting at a power armor station.
