Background[edit | edit source]
Before the Great War, the district was home to a large number of theaters. These included the Warren Theater and the theaters around and inside the Combat Zone. The neighborhood was serviced by the Medical Center metro on the Orange Line, located next to the Mass Bay Medical Center.
After the bombs fell, the district was devastated, with many casualties. The Mass Bay Medical Center was shortly commandeered by the remains of the military to treat victims of the nuclear detonation and resulting fallout. After the war, raiders and Gunners inhabit the area, and the largest theater in the district was repurposed by Tommy Lonegan to become the Combat Zone, a raider fight club.
