The Peacemaker is a fully automatic 40mm explosive heavy weapon found in Appalachia. Using twelve round belts of grenades held in a belt box on the left side of the weapon, the auto grenade launcher is capable of rapidly firing large quantities of high explosives at enemies.

The Peacemaker is a powerful, automatic explosive weapon firing belt-fed 40mm grenades. Delivering a high volume of explosive ordnance at the range, it is difficult to ignore, especially when taking into account the damage bonuses from using the right perk cards. (It does not benefit from Heavy Gunner due to the perk not accounting for explosive heavy weapons. However, it does benefit from Demolition Expert.)
When fired in VATS, the grenades home in on their target, guaranteeing a hit every time (except in very rare circumstances), regardless of the actual chance to hit the target that is shown, assuming that it is not zero. It is also very awkward to aim and fire normally; because of this, this weapon greatly benefits from VATS-related legendary perks.
