| The following is based on information from Fallout Shelter or Fallout Shelter Online. |
The (Thinly Veiled) Plot Thickens is an overseer quest and part of Zines from the Commonwealth multi-stage questline in Fallout Shelter.
Walkthrough[]
After the player's dweller(s) enter Vault 120, they will have to fight through rooms of gangs of raiders and/or a raider boss, and intrusions of radroaches and a glowing radroach.
While the player's dweller(s) are fighting through rooms of enemies, they will find the overseer of Vault 120, who says that the New Boston Bugle is a trap and the Bugle Boy is part of the trap. The overseer will then direct the dweller(s) towards a RobCo plant.
After the conversation, the overseer will give the dweller(s) a legendary weapon recipe. The same room has a legendary junk item, and a rare weapon.
The player's dweller(s) can now go to other rooms for loot and to kill more enemies, or return to the Vault.
Dialogue[]
| Opening dialogue | Dweller response | Character response |
|---|---|---|
| It was just before dawn... They came out of nowhere. Everyone's dead. Everyone. It should have been impossible. We had unbeatable security! |
Bugle Boy? | After he visits the settlers at the RobCo plant, he comes here to get updates on supplies and treasure to bring back to the Editor. |
| Any idea where the Bugle's offices are located? | I'd talk to the settlers at the RobCo Plant. They were the first to get hit. They'd know the more about the Bugle Boy and his Editor. |
