The Tesla coils are a torso power armor mod in Fallout 4.
Effects[]
When installed on a power armor torso, the player character will deal 15 points of electrical damage to an enemy if they attack with melee weapons or unarmed attacks.
Crafting[]
In order to craft the Tesla coils modification, a power armor frame with the desired torso piece attached must be installed at a power armor station.

Location[]
The Tesla coils power armor modification cannot be found in the game world, nor is it sold by any merchants in the game. It can only be obtained via crafting at a power armor station.
Notes[]
- The raider power armor set was originally intended to have the Tesla coils available as a mod, but this variant was cut from the final game.
- The X-01 version of the mod inflicts only 20% damage of that dealt by other versions.
- The visual sparking of the Tesla coils' activation will reveal the location of invisible attacking enemies (such as a Courser using a Stealth Boy.)

The Tesla coils are named after Nikola Tesla, a Serbian-American inventor and engineer famous for his revolutionary contributions in the field of electricity and magnetism in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, most prominently his work that formed the basis of modern alternating current (AC) electric power systems.
