The Tesla cannon is a weapon in the Fallout 4 Creation Club content "Tesla Cannon."
Characteristics[]
The Tesla cannon is a large shoulder mounted energy cannon with blue electricity running in the middle (yellow if the Tesla-Beaton Assembly is installed). It fires a lightning bolt of corresponding color at the crosshair that detonates upon collision with an entity or the map. It requires fusion cells to fire, and does not need to reload, instantly filling the magazine upon pressing the reload button, with no associated sound effect or animation. With the Tesla-Beaton assembly mod, the weapon can be made to look like the Tesla-Beaton prototype from Fallout: New Vegas, firing orange bolts instead which travel between multiple targets.
The weapon is made by, and for, the Enclave. It can be a guaranteed find during two quests, being the reward for Best of Three, and in the hands of an Enclave soldier at the end of Echoes of the Past. At higher levels, it can be found being wielded by power armor-clad Enclave soldiers.
