The Tesla cannon is a weapon in the Fallout 4 Creation Club content "Tesla Cannon." It was added to the game as part of the next-gen update.
Characteristics[]
The Tesla cannon is a large shoulder-mounted energy cannon with blue electricity running in the middle (yellow if the Tesla-Beaton Assembly is installed). It fires a lightning bolt of corresponding color at the crosshair that detonates upon collision with an entity or the map. It requires fusion cells to fire, and does not need to reload, instantly filling the magazine upon pressing the reload button, with no associated sound effect or animation. With the Tesla-Beaton assembly mod, the weapon can be made to look like the Tesla-Beaton prototype from Fallout: New Vegas, firing orange bolts instead which travel between multiple targets.

- One can be found on Skylanes Flight 1665, carried by Caroni during the quest Best of Three.
- One is used by an Enclave soldier at Atlantic Offices during the quest Echoes of the Past.
- At higher levels, it can be found being wielded by power armor-clad Enclave soldiers.
Notes[]
- The Tesla-Beaton Assembly modification will also chain through friendly NPCs.
- The Tesla cannon can be equipped by all humanoid companions as well as Strong, however, as with the Fat Man and missile launcher, they will consume any fusion cells given to them and must be replenished if they run out, otherwise they will revert to their weaker default weapons.
