| ||For other characters in the Fallout universe named Ted, see Ted.|
Ted is a soldier of unknown rank stationed at Camp Forlorn Hope. He was part of a squad of skirmishers sent out into the no-mans land between Camp Forlorn Hope and Nelson. He was severely injured by a legion soldier and left to die in the sun. To make things worse for him, the legionaire booby-trapped his body with explosives.
Not long after the battle, the Courier finds him, but Ted warns him to keep his distance due to the mines. The Courier can disable the mines and keep him safe, to which Ted will ask for a bullet to his head to ease his passing.
- A letter can be retrieved from looting his corpse.
- His appearance seems to be randomly generated.
- It is no longer possible to get encounter Ted or retrive Forlorn Hope letters 4 and 9 after a patch where the majority of injured troopers between Nelson and Camp Forlorn Hope are removed.
Ted appears only in Fallout: New Vegas.
