The tattoo parlor is an unmarked location in Charleston.

Background[]

A pre-War business offering tattoos, situated southeast of the Charleston Herald building. It was frequently visited by employees of the Charleston Capitol Building, who would request tattoos in places that could be hidden under their clothing.[1]

Layout[]

The interior of the building is accessible only from the back, the inaccessible front of the parlor faces the Capitol Building. A Port-A-Diner and terminal is found here, an entry within describing the owner's conversation with Melody Larkin from the Responders. Larkin had asked for permission for her trainees to use the street in front of the parlor for an obstacle course. The writer comments that they think the group is crazy to operate in Charleston after the flood, but was glad to help, mentioning that their turrets could keep threats away from the trainees while they were in the area.[2]
