When I went from the 360 version to the PS3 version I first noticed that the merchant caravan that usually spawns near wolfhorn ranch would not appear(neither would the legion hit squad that usually attacks them), as I continued to play, I noticed that only merchant I could find was the one that paces back and forth near the Mojave Outpost. Does anybody else playing the ps3 version notice this? [[Special:Contributions/68.144.86.69|68.144.86.69]] 19:52, July 22, 2014 (UTC)

Respawn after death?

If one of these merchants dies do they respawn? The wording of one of the bugs seems to indicate they do, but I'd rather be sure before I end up losing one permanently like you did in Fallout 3. 216.232.238.83 12:08, December 14, 2010 (UTC)

I'm curious about this too. --Felix BrehhUser talk:Felix Brehh 00:49, October 22, 2011 (UTC)

Of course they are. If they do not, at one point they would have been wiped out just due to bad luck. Anyway, it's easy enough to check. spawn a stationary merchant at a place that is easy to check, like Novac. Kill her. Check back every few day until either her corpse get wiped out or resurrect.Laclongquan (talk) 03:30, May 20, 2013 (UTC)

I'd like a confirmation for this. I've checked around the net some people say they respawn others say they don't. Recently one of the legions assassin's party brutally murdered at least one of the merchant caravans that traverse near Novac. I've hanged around there for some 2 days in game time (I made the motel room my main home) and there hasn't been a single merchant there which is weird since they come up atlest once a day. Which really troubles me since the merchants are my main means to attain mats and other useful junk and ammo not to mention they buy anything I sell. Is there a way to make them respawn?.-- A visitor

easy prey

you can earn a bit bi killing them just take the heavy armed first and so on no karma loss and no faction gets angry at you AND ITS FUN!

Trade routes the Traveling Merchants Take

Does anyone know what the general route is that traveling merchants traverse in order to navigate New Vegas? If they really take the entire trip from the Strip to Wolfhorn Ranch (thats the earliest I've ever seen traveling merchants) what roads do they take so we can find them more easily. I have been able to follow a group of two caravans of traveling merchants that were headed North from Novac, from there they would travel all the way to the 188 Trading Post. However, they would never stop into the post, but would follow the road branching off west towards the Repconn Headquarters building, would then follow that road all the way to the Gulp n' Grub or Grub n' Gulp (cant remember off the top of my head how its spelled) then follow that road all the way to the Crimson Caravan Headquarters. That was the farthest I followed them, can anyone point where they've seen any traveling caravans with the exception of the one in Boulder City (that one automatically spawns once you arrive and never travels or replenishes his/her inventory)?

Possible bug?

Has anyone else noticed that they attack you when you are being attacked by a Cesars legion hit squad? they even attack nearby NCR soldiers that naturally attacks the Legion Assassins, literally helping the Assassins out. I mean, I could accept it if it was NCR hit squad but a legion?! EDIT: Added proper signature. Wayw4rd 16:45, November 9, 2011 (UTC) 16:42, November 9, 2011 (UTC)
