I noticed that when approaching the champ with a weapon drawn, he has a dialog about "lethal parameters" and everyone goes hostile. I attempted it again with no weapon equipped and only the champ went on to fight me one on one. Talked to Mack and received some praise for taking on the Champ successfully

Dead Champ on Arrival

So when I re-opened the Galleria and went over to see about the The Champ, The Champ was already dead. There's was different Dialog stating The Champ was feeling Under the weather so Somehow He was killed before I could take him on myself. --73.194.229.203 02:30, December 31, 2015 (UTC)
