quest location is random settlement?
I just got this quest for "suspected synth at somerville place" Since the page already lists two locations one can assume there is more.
- I renamed the page to 'Suspected Synth' and if you find new possible locations you only need to add them to the list. This is to avoid having 6 times the same page with the same description and walkthrough. --YoDsanklai (talk) 19:22, December 27, 2015 (UTC)
I'm working on other pages at the moment and maybe I'll add this info in the proper places on the page later, but I figured I'd write what I found before I forget it. This quest can occur in any settlement that you own with a population greater than 2 that isn't ghouls and you haven't visited the settlement in over 3 days. Settler dies in the morning bugEdit
I just had something wierd happen on the PS4 version. I got the settlers to let her go, but when she gets up in the morning, she randomly dies. Is this supposed to happen? Or is it a bug? - Not sure who the above was, but this bug is verified. I just had the same thing happen. Completed the quest, romanced a companion (slept until 6am), and I hear the settler in question die as I wake up. Went to investigate and found her dead on the couch. The settler defending the accused looks at the body, says "She wasn't a synth. Goddammit! You murdered her!" Then "Curie hated that", "Piper disliked that", "Codsworth disliked that", and "Cait liked that". The accused in question was not a synth. In testing, the accused always died at exactly 6:20 am. If the accuser never sees the body, nothing else happens that I can see, short term. Have not tried leaving & returning. --LabGecko (talk) 10:11, January 23, 2018 (UTC)
Objective suspect dead bugEdit
"It's possible to walk into the settlement to find the objective suspect dead, this seems to make to quest impossible to accomplish as the quest marker will hover above the dead suspect.[verification overdue][platforms tag needed]"
I can confirm this for PC. There was a super mutant attack at Starlight Drive-In and upon searching a settler that was killed during, the synth component was there and the quest started. With no way to finish the quest, the only thing possible is to leave the area and fail the quest. 18.104.22.168 00:21, September 17, 2016 (UTC)
Always an Institute Infiltrator?Edit
I ask this question that the answer may be added to the page. A single line of info would suffice. Is the suspected synth, when actually a synth, ALWAYS an Institute spy or can they someimes be fugitives? I ask bc I checked in VATS and saw that he had rad protection not part of the armor I had him in. When interrogated he admitted to being a synth, so I told the villagers and they killed him. Traveling with Deacon, he hated it.
Anyway I know this is long but it's not a chat thing so I think it's okay to write it here. Just asking for a single line of data be added to the page. Thanks! DrMrsTheMonarch (talk) 07:47, January 26, 2017 (UTC)
