Skill Books
I am on my second HH playthrough and I found only a Big Book of Science inside another cave. This is my second visit to Stone Bones Cave and I found ZERO books in both playthroughs. (XBox 360)
It would seem as though there are only three places in which you have the possibility of getting a skill book. These locations are Angel Cave, Stone Bones Cave, and Cueva Guarache. Be sure to check the Workbench Crate in each cave, next to the Workbench.76.6.45.228 23:53, May 18, 2011 (UTC)
To get the Honest Hearts skill books you have to check the boxes next to the workbenchs inside Angel Cave, Cueva Guarache, and Stone Bones Cave. If you don't find any skill books or if you want to find more skill books, leave Zion Canyon through the Southern passage to the Mojave Wasteland and enter the Northern passage end of the cave to return to Zion Canyon. When you check all three boxes again afterwards, you will notice that the boxes contents have changed. Some of the boxes might have the same contents as before, but at least one of them will be different. If you don't get any skill books or if you want to get more skill books, then just repeat the process. 67.169.175.134 03:35, May 19, 2011 (UTC)
Items deleting/respawning?[]
This page says that items dropped or stored in containers here will disappear if you leave Zion. Is this confirmed? Josrence44 04:39, June 12, 2011 (UTC)
I personally dropped a few items to test this because I'm wanting to transfer items from my lucky 38 suite so I can use all 3 workstations, and the few items I dropped stayed. Planning in testing some more later today.
Every single item that I stored in the cave was still there when I returned to Zion two weeks later (in-game time). Before I left Zion, I dumped all the items that I couldn't carry into the Reloading Bench Footlocker and the Workbench Crate. Seems like the content of these two containers won't respawn, at least not within the time frame that I mentioned.
second Tripwire[]
"Three bear traps are immediately ahead on the path. Behind the third bear trap lies another trip wire. The path then slopes upwards and forks into two directions. Immediately at the top of the slope is a plasma mine, behind a pot."
The tripwire after the bear traps and before the plasma mine triggers a grenade bouquet hanging directly above the wooden supports. It is possible to reach this bouquet, but you need to move something underneath it that you can climb up on. The aforementioned pot works for this purpose, however you can't interact with it. You have to keep taking the pot and dropping it from the Pip Boy interface until it lands in the right spot for you to then climb up on it and jump. --Trogdor
