Artist info[]
How did you find this artist info? I've been looking all over, even asking music lovers that I know, and came up with nothing. --Kris

I emailed the composer. She's a musicologist in the UK, and married to Pete Thomas (the arranger/musician). Dmunsil 20:36, October 27, 2010 (UTC)
I couldn't find ANY info, composer or artist, searching Google for "sit and sleep" or "sit and dream". Any chance we can get official lyrics to post in the lyrics section? --Kris

The composer info I got from APM, which is a production music licensing company. APM is listed in the Fallout credits as "Additional music provided by APM." If you go to apmmusic.com, they have their own search engine for songs by name, genre, etc. Everything in the "songs" folder in Fallout NV that isn't listed separately in the credits came from APM, and it's not too difficult to find the specific songs in their engine. Sometimes the vocalist is listed in the song description, but not usually. The composer is always listed, though, because of specific copyright rules around composer credits. The composer for this song was listed as Laurie Alison Stras (PRS). PRS is the UK Performing Rights Society, so I knew she must be British. I searched for Laurie Alison Stras and got nowhere, but there is a Laurie Stras who is a music professor in the UK. I emailed her and asked if she was the composer. She emailed back that she was, and gave me the rest of the credits. I've already asked her if she could provide the lyrics, but haven't heard back. Interestingly enough, she had no idea that her song was in the game. Apparently her 10-year-old is impressed. :-) Dmunsil 20:45, October 27, 2010 (UTC)
An observation[]
I've noticed this song seems to play at 20:30pm on many occasions. It seems to only be played then. Can someone else confirm this? I find it interesting that Mr New Vegas plays a lullaby at the traditional children's bedtime.Stikibunn (talk) 11:45, October 23, 2012 (UTC)
