Weird glitch Edit

After completing Head of State (360) and selling Hannibal the lincoln artifacts i didnt want to display myself, i found Simone walking around in a squatting fighting stances holding her combat shotgun upside down. (67.167.229.227 23:09, 10 July 2009 (UTC))

She was not a raider Edit

There's nothing in any of her dialogue that suggests she was a raider, aside from "Hannibal doesn't care about my past", which could mean anything. However, she does specifically state that she was part of a mercenary crew until she was put into slavery. Mercenaries and Raiders aren't the same thing, so I've edited the article accordingly. Hope there aren't any objections

Admin approved. I also want to throw it out there that I've been watching your recent edits, and I have to say that I'm grateful to have another stickler for details on our wiki. Hope you choose to stay around for a while. ForGaroux Some Assembly Required! 03:09, June 10, 2013 (UTC)
Thanks, I'm honored that my edits have been noticed. I've never really contributed to a wiki before now, so I wasn't sure if I was following proper procedure. I'll definitely continue to improve the wiki whenever I see an opportunity to do so. I've been replaying Fallout 3 and reading the relevant articles as I go along, and like you said, I'm a stickler for details. I also have a habit of looking up minor NPCs, places, and objects out of sheer curiosity, which leads me to view pages that many players would probably overlook. I'm hesitant to add new information to pages though, because I don't want to say too much. I'm such a huge Fallout fan that I'd end up writing a 50 page paper on Brahmin or something. The bit about her being a raider comes from the Fallout 3 Official Game Guide. Now do we listen to the paper copy or the game itself? Hmmm... --Kastera (talk) 03:34, June 10, 2013 (UTC)
I'd suggest the game itself. The guides were not even made by Bethesda/Zenimax/Obsidian. The guides were contracted out to secondary publishers, and are full of inaccuracies due to being finished before the game was even finished so they could ship out together. For what it's worth, I've also seen several other articles here pointing out errors and inconsistencies found in the official guide. Another abolitionist, Caleb Smith, does admit to being a former raider...maybe that had something to with confusion among the guide's authors (pure speculation, though).
