The normal way?[]

The main page of this article is devoted to the "quickest" way to get the perk. Is there a description of the "normal" way? I add a mod and I get a message that Codsworth loved what I did. But if I add another mod, then no message. What does this save trick circumvent? I'm I supposed to get the "Codsworth loved that." only once per bench? Once per day? So I would posit that the bulk of the content of this article is appropriate for a Notes section at the end, where the primary part of the article should be about the 'normal' way to get the perk.

-- I could be wrong but I believe it only triggers one time per bench, but I'm not sure

-- I'm pretty sure it triggers every time you do it after a loading screen. I had Codsworth at the Red Rocket which is where I did a lot of weapon modding, and I got him to idolising without even using him as a companion.

-- This is correct. Add a mod. Quicksave-quickload. Remove and add another mod. Quicksave-quickload. Remove and add the original mod. Repeat.

-- Is not worked at all

-- I tried out this "trick" as I find Codsworth annoying and would rather get rid of him ASAP. However, it is not working. Not even in the first time that the mod is added.Pantaleon (talk) 21:55, May 16, 2016 (UTC)

-- I think they fixed the quickload-affection-trick with the last patch.

Perk description incorrect[]

It actually reduces energy damage from robots by 10% instead of adding +10 damage reduction. This makes it a lot more usefull and should be noted on the site.94.134.103.190 01:18, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
