Compass

Is that a compass in the stock? As in "Red Ryder Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle BB gun with a compass in the stock and a thing which tells time" from A Christmas Story: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Christmas_Story_(1983_film)

I know this one is a fan favourite, so I thought I'd pose the question before I make the edit - since this is a parallel reference, does anyone have any objections to removing one of them? Or maybe just a reword, I propose this: "This weapon is a reference to the movie A Christmas Story, which was also referenced by Wasteland." Ishotamaninnewreno 15:20, January 9, 2010 (UTC)

Sure. Personally, I don't like how so many things are a reference to Wasteland ("Laser Pistol, reference to Wasteland's Laser Pistol" -- What about every other goddamn laser pistol?) but that reword would work. Nitty ^Tok. 15:24, January 9, 2010 (UTC)

Cool, I thought I'd keep the Wasteland ref there due to some similarities with how you get the gun in Fallout and Wasteland, but I agree with you on the dodgy Wasteland references.
