Remove tagEdit

Is there actually any way to remove this tag from an item?Roxor99 14:32, February 23, 2011 (UTC)roxor99Roxor99 14:32, February 23, 2011 (UTC)

Yes! With GECK, the game editor. Find the item you want to alter, right-click on it and choose "Toggle quest item status" or something like that. In fact, you can neuter all the quest items like this at once, if you sort the item list by the "Quest" status (which is a yes/no state), then highlight all the quest items and do the "Toggle quest item status" thing. Then save the plug-in and enable it in the Launcher or Mod Manager. I'm not sure if this breaks any quests, so...

That's overkill. I've added the appropriate console command to the article.

"SetQuestObject" Equivalent for Fallout 4? Edit

I know it exists because I remember using it less than a year ago. Sadly I can't remember the command and I can't find it online. The only option that I can find out there is using the drop <ItemID> <#> command. That's fine for removing items stuck in your inventory, but it doesn't explain how to actually make an item into a quest item (ex:Turret Override Program) as to prevent accidentally dropping or storing it somewhere and forgetting.
