The Prisoner was the intended main character (the player) in van Buren (Fallout 3).
How about we refer to the prisoner as Prisoner 13? I think it would distinguish him/her a little more and not be so generic. The Vault Dweller, the Chosen One, & Prisoner 13... Sounds good to me! Daesch 00:33, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
- In van Buren design documents the intended main character was reffered just as a "Prisoner" (eg. not as a "prisoner").--dotz 08:49, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
Why is there no information in the female Prisoner?
Because the female prisoner wasn't even FINISHED. She's 'usable' in the Tech Demo but it's clear she's nowhere near done.24.181.55.90 19:19, 8 November 2008 (UTC)

Nude, female protagonist?!That wouldda rocked! Why was it cancelled in teh first place?? HuangLee 04:47, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
- Because of Interplay's inept management by Herve Caen, who decided to publish Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel instead. Ausir 05:20, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
How did the "Prisoner" get to a 200 YEAR OLD PRISON? It's not even known by the near communities!
- Because ODYSSEUS was manipulated by Presper to capture these people, for instance? See Tibbets Facility. That Furry Bastard 17:22, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
13 in Everything[]
Ok, the prison suit has a 13 on its back. But why does the Vault Jumpsuit that didn't had anything on its back, when you wear it, there apeers the vault 13 number?
Why[]
I keep searching through the Van Buren articles, but I can't find anything about it. Why did the Prisoner wake up in a different prison than the one he fell asleep in?
