Coincidence Edit

So is it coincedentail that Fisto and Shocker both happen to be sexual terms? 00:25, 28 November 2008 (UTC)

Notes Edit

"Despite being called the Power Fist in game, it bears a greater resemblance to the Impact Gloves of Fallout Tactics than the traditional power fist shown in Fallout 1 and 2. Also, unlike the Power Fist of Fallout 1 and 2, this version does not require ammunition to function. " For the first part of that, it was hard to find a picture, but if this is the one, I really don't see the resemblence. While I would agree that the power fist in this game doesn't resemble the ones in the other games either.

On the subject of ammo that's just because Unarmed and Melee Weapons in this game don't use ammo, even if they did in prior games and/or reasonably should (i.e., Ripper, Shishkebab). Really it's a gameplay issue, not necessarily a story issue. Since this involves the other games in the series, I'm not sure I can do anything about it, since I've only played Fallout 3 so far...Fiddlesoup 18:38, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

Personal experience Edit

In the article, it is said that it may require a high level of luck to find the Power Fist in the footlockers of the Talon Company Camp but with a Luck level of 6, I've found 2 of them. I guess they are simply added randomly and I was incredibly lucky. Bi0mesis 23:51, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

Reference? Edit

Power Fists somehow remind me of Hellboy's stone-fist. (When worn with non-Power-Armor they look kinda huge) Coincidence? Kamuikaze 16:28, 10 January 2009 (UTC)

I can think of a few other possible references; D&D, robotech, mechanoid invasion, RIFTS rpg, marvel comics infinity gauntlet... I'm sure there are others. Ash Nuke AshRandom (Talk) 16:37, 10 January 2009 (UTC)

Displacer Glove?Edit

I'm pretty sure displacer gloves should go here: 1.) The article isn't specific to pneumatic power-fists,as a ballistic fist is not pneumatic. 2.) It's an unarmed, powered, glove-style weapon, as are all these. Lemme know how y'all feel, post on my talk page if you want to explain why it isn't here. --Valoopy

UPDATE: I threw the Zap Glove in too, notify me before it's taken down. I'd like to know why if it happens. --Valoopy

Why do not add Industrial Hand in this page?SgtRL-3 05:49, June 22, 2012 (UTC)

In about 6 hours I will be converting this into a disambiguation page, as per the project. If there are objections let me know on my talk page before then. --Animcentaur Bigsamcrew 20:20, May 18, 2015 (UTC)
