got a quick question, how is it you guys get your power armor? im looking for some more sets to equip my team and to repair my own. mezzing BoS members isnt working, and i cant tell what armor to reverse pickpocket them with. some vendors sell the armor, i know this, but not very often. any ways i can get armor, (maybe with killing) but without turning the outcasts or the BoS hostile?

Any RefID starting in FF is a temporarily assigned RefID meant for dropped inventory objects, PlaceAtMe-created objects, and some creature spawns. They should be disregarded as far as listing RefIDs are concerned. You could have multiple instances in your inventory, and each individual one you drop would have its own FF-ranged RefID. You can even erase it from existence by selecting it in the console, and typing in "MarkForDelete" (or its shorthand "zap") and completely erase its RefID in the game runtime and in the next gamesave.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this article meant to cover Power Armor in Fallout 3 '''as a whole'''? And as such, shouldn't the T51b and Enclave variants also be included? Humorously, although exceptionally heavy if added to inventory, a dead NPC wearing power armor becomes light as paper --- even lighter than a regular corpse --- if their body is grabbed with the Z/Controlstick button. Answer

Genrally with my good karma charecter and neutral karma PC i just follow the outcast patrols that you can find alot of times in front of the national guard depo and around oaisis and farfax ruins (pretty much every fort too) BoS patrols are hard to find but somtimes you can lead super mutents in the mall to the washington monument and just loot the BoS corpses additionally there is a respawning patrol in front of the citidle and one is usually dead when you reach them they are on the beach in front of the citidal

sometimes with broken steel installed you can find 1 or 2 guarding a water caravan

does that help?Outcast115 02:59, January 15, 2010 (UTC)

FF-ranged Ref IDs are in the gamesave's refID range and are temporary and should be disregarded here

I attempted to edit out the RefID columns from the HexID chart... but ended up screwing up the chart in the process, so I reverted it.. Is someone else able to make the change?

Power Armor "bug"

Something I found out accidentally:
If you have 100 small guns skill, and put on power armor of any kind, it'll drop your skill 2 points for every 1 point of agility the armor takes.
If you read a skill book (or 2, or 4 if needed) while wearing the armor, your skill will increase to 100 again.
When you take off the armor there is no noticeable difference, but from that point forward your skill will not drop when wearing power armor.

This isnt a bug, if your skill was increased up to 100 by reading books while wearing power armour it would still show as 100 when you took it off, when in truth it was an invisible 102 or 104 or however many books you read, next time you put your armour on it brings it back down to 100.--MrSuperHappy 00:33, November 27, 2011 (UTC)

Pink Power Armor

This armor wasn't cut from the game, just the textures that were taken out of the game and left in the game files. It's not like there was really a Pink PA. There was never such a armor...--Oddii02 13:48, October 17, 2010 (UTC)

That's pretty much the definition of "cut content" - anything that exists in the game files but not in the game itself. Some content is more cut than others; Rock Crick hunters, for example, are mostly intact, while some items are only a line or three of code in the GECK. This armor falls somewhere inbetween, being a complete set of models and textures which are not present in the GECK. --Kris User Hola 13:54, October 17, 2010 (UTC)

Outcast helmet/ Psycho-tic helmet.

Whoa, I was experimenting and found i can equip Chinese stealth armor, the outcast power helmet, The Raider Psycho-tic helmet, and the Winterized T-51 power helmet. Anyone else tried it out?

Rusted Outcast armor?

This page describes the Outcast Armor as being painted black and red, but it appears to me that it was simply painted black and shows significant rust, perhaps lacking the resources of the main Brotherhood. Is there an official source on this?

T-45d

You know, it's never actually been stated anywhere that this is the t-45d. Bethesda has said it's the t-45, but never which variant of it. Paladin117>>iff bored; 02:53, December 6, 2015 (UTC)
