So this is confirmed now? 90.224.93.138 17:09, October 5, 2010 (UTC)

The existence of this article is based on the pic in the gallery. The gun in the pic looks exactly like the FO3 plasma rifle.--Gothemasticator 21:36, October 5, 2010 (UTC)
I thought that the Plasma Rifle in that picture was just a placeholder. 90.224.93.138 23:23, October 10, 2010 (UTC)
The secondary picture was taken from a screencap of Developer Diary #2, which was released at a point far too along in the game's development to still be relying on placeholder models. So no, it's not a placeholder. --MadCat221 23:27, October 11, 2010 (UTC)

finally 70.179.38.132 05:06, October 7, 2010 (UTC)

YES. Finally is right. I second that.--Resplendant Securitron 17:28, October 10, 2010 (UTC)

HELL YES that is one of my favorite FO3 weapons and i am very happy to see it coming to FNV!--BattleBen 07:19, October 12, 2010 (UTC)

Which energy rifle found in Nipton? (The one outside)[]

Could someone confirm if it's possible to get a Plasma Rifle off the dead man (outside, near the ash pile) in Nipton? I got a Laser Rifle, so perhaps the person who edited this article confused the two rifles, although it could be random or level dependent. I don't want to edit it without some indication one way or the other. Ilovefuzzykittens 18:23, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

Why'd they nerf this thing so bad?[]

I mean seriously, it's so painfully slow it's useless.

I can verify the acc. mod setting off the iron sights[]

It's true. Very annoying bug. I went and got the unique version (the Q38 something prototype or whatever its called) cuz i couldn't stand it GTA1122 04:02, April 8, 2011 (UTC)

New name?[]

Instead of "Urban" Plasma Rifle, or "Unknown Model" Plasma Pistol, why not call them "Q-Series", in reference to the Q-35 prototype unit? Where did the "urban" bit come from anyway? --MadCat221 (talk) 18:01, April 21, 2013 (UTC)
