June 25th was simply the last PSN update in June.

Due to issues in the conversion coding(and wanting to avoid the a buggy release like on the 360), the release was pushed back into july. However they have yet to say WHEN in july. So would the person who edited to say late july on the main page, stop editing it to say that or site a source.--[[User:LordVukodlak|LordVukodlak]] 08:12, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

New PS3 release date july 16th.And the dates been pushed back because the PS3 is ridiculously hard to program for this is also the reason that Modern Warfare 2 isnt being released on it.[[Special:Contributions/67.186.39.155|67.186.39.155]] 01:51, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

you gotta shoot them in the head bug?(360)

I accepted the quest from mr crowly and then before completing it did the oporation anchorage quest...after exiting the sim i noticed that the YGSTITH quest was marked as completed...i didnt notice any other quests being completed. this was played on a fresh game with all DLC's installed. anyone else notice this?

It's already in the article. Picking up the T-51b armor from the armory completes that quest if you have already started it. You may either not pick up the armor and complete the quest, pick it up and screw the quest, or reload a save before the simulation, complete the quest, then complete the simulation again. Or, if you started it recently, you may consider loading a save before you even started the quest. TearsOfBlood 03:30, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

pip boy radio (bug?)

While playing Operation Anchorage I was in the simulation already when I checked my Pip-Boy and I found that all of my radio stations were removed. However, Wernher's Distress signal from The Pitt DLC was not, it was still accessible.. so I wanted to put this here on fallout wiki but I didn't know whether it was a bug or not. I put it under the "notes" section but if anyone disagrees with me let me know..

It is most likely not a bug, I have discovered the same thing. TearsOfBlood 03:32, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

Operation Anchorage: No fat man team? (360)

I downloaded the O.A. DLC and beat it with one of my characters. I tried it again with another one of my characters, but when I get to the mine field and disable the mines, the team with the power armor and fat man never show up (so obviously I can't complete the quest). Thankfully the game saves right before you enter the Simulation but it's still bugging the crap out of me. I tried it a couple times, making sure to kill EVERYONE just in case they get stuck. I even went back and looked around for them, but I didn't see them and I'm pretty sure they just spawn right around the corner.

Anyone else have this problem?

Yes this has happened to me reloading fixes the problem.(360)

No door to Bailey's Crossroads Metro

I just downloaded the Operation Anchorage expansion for Xbox 360. I checked to make sure the files were on the console, and not corrupted before running the game. I got the distress call for Operation Anchorage, but the door to Baileys Crossroads Metro isn't there. I went to exactly where it should be (diagonally across the intersection from Red Racer Factory in the wall, next to a poster) and it's just not there. How do I fix this bug?Christylynne 00:20, 19 April 2009 (UTC)Christylynne

Just so you know and you might not. But you don't go into the metro station because its blocked with debris you go into the door about 10 feet away from it. if the door isn't there remove Operation Anchorage from your hard drive and re-download it

Gary 23 Placement

Could we get a picture or video of how to properly place Gary 23 to exploit the bug? 68.41.145.24 15:32, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

Freezing Problems

For some reason or another, I've been having a lot of problems with my game freezing when I try to enter the simulation. Out of about 10 tries, only twice was I able to enter the simulation. Does anyone else have this problem? I won't boter adding it as a bug if not. I play on an Xbox 360. It may also be important that I note I had returned to Megaton to drop of loot from the outpost, put on my neural suit while there, then went back to the outpost. TearsOfBlood 08:32, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

Nor for me... I just got the diskpack which includes this and the pitt yeseterday and have doen them both twice, both time looting the base beforehand. Never crashed for me. Ive got the most recent patch and running from HDD, by the way.86.16.153.191 04:25, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

Operation: Anchorage - Mysterious Stranger... (bug or just odd?)

Hi, while playing the 'Operation: Anchorage' DLC on the 360 - I was heading for the 2nd big gun after blowing the 1st in the first section of the sim. - when I took out a chinese soldier using VATS. My 'Mysterious Stranger' PERK kicked in but, and here's the odd bit, I saw the 'Mysterious Stranger' take at least one hit (possibly from the sergeant working with me while he was aiming at the chinese chap we'd just taken down) and then the 'stranger' crumpled to the steel walkway and vanished in the same way as the dead soldier. I was wondering if anybody else has seen this and whether it's some sort of weird bug. I've not seen the 'Mysterious Stranger' since but as I'm level 30 I don't expect to see him for a while anyway. I'll add to this post if/when I do see him. Happy to report that my Mysterious Stranger was fit for duty a little while later back in the Capital Wastelands and seemed none the worse for his experience in the sim! lol.

Lol, when i was on the outside of the recon station (or whatever it is) when i was at the top, outside i was killing chinese enemies in vats when mysterious stranger appeared and then got killed and disappeared like you. Silent.Killa78 >:) 09:37, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

Maybe every corpse evaporates like that (except the quartermaster... hmm...). But then this is even more strange since I thought the Mysterious Stranger was essential. Jdw 02:48, 24 May 2009 (UTC)

Outcasts not listed ?

Why aren't the Outcasts in the post listed under New Allied/Enemies ? I mean, they are new characters exclusive to the DLC... --Penumbra 22:20, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

Negative, the faction is in the base game too, just not those particular Outcasts.--Amitakartok 20:44, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

Simulation 10mm silenced pistol reverse pickpocket idea.

EDIT: Here's an idea I haven't tried it before, has anyone tried pickpocketing the Silenced 10mm pistol you get at the beginning onto montgomery? Then taking it back when the first quest is over?

I'll edit your grammar and spelling for you should I? Werewolfhell is terrible when it comes to spelling >.> TheLoneWanderer2 11:12, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

Getting attacked when you try to take rewards

At the end of the sim on two different of my pc's I was attacked out of nowhere by the outcasts. I assume this is a bug becuse first they went apeshit on each other then the survivors attacked me. I only ask because it isn't mentioned on the wiki about this.

This is unconfirmed. However, after you finish the simulation most of the outcasts become hostile. This is supposed to happen. See Operation: Anchorage TheLoneWanderer2 11:09, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

Homage?

Does this DLC remind anyone of Metal Gear (the one for PS or PS2 that was Winter style)? V.A.T.S. addict 19:53, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

Leedle bit like MGS1. But not much. Fat Man Spoon 19:57, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

From the icons for the aiding the outcast quest {The Vault Boy giving a guy in outcast armor a box that says aid} and the one for paving the way{The vault boy standing near the same dude that was in outcast armor but hes wearin what looks like T-51b} and The fact that the winterized T-51b is the sim version I get the impression that in early in the planing for O.A the PC was not ment to recive the T-51b {at least not directly or with out negative karma} the fact that the outcast recive nothing and Mcgraw says theres plenty for everybody makes me think this even more67.186.39.155 18:49, 20 June 2009 (UTC)

release date

i read some where (PS3 forum i think) that it was to be released on the 25th of June?!? can anyone confirm and if this is correct can we update the page! also what's the release date for the UK?

Getting attacked by the Oucasts is ok...

If you go into the storeroom and then go back out you can catch the conversation between McGraw and Sibley. Sibley wants you to get nothing, McGraw insists he made a deal, Sibley and the others attack McGraw (and become generally aggressive), and Olin comes to McGraw's aid.

Vandiemen5 11:26, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

Yep, for me i killed all the hostile people and after the resulting bloodbath it was just me and odin left. She can repair items, by the way.86.16.153.191 04:28, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
