Name[]

Should this be called "Oliver anti-materiel rifle" as it is now, or "Oliver's anti-materiel rifle" on the assumption that it was intended to be used by General Oliver? The Editor ID is VHDOliverSniperAntiMaterielRifle --Kris 01:55, July 26, 2011 (UTC)

I have a feeling this actually belongs to General Oliver. It makes more sense. Sure the Editor ID doesn't have the 'S' but that doesn't mean anything other than a shorter ID name.

I vote for it to be renamed "Oliver's anti-materiel rifle" on account that General Oliver is part of the NCR and the anti-materiel rifle seems common in Ranger Veterans, who else but the General can own such a special rifle? Certainly not some common sniper in battle. If anybody has any objections, or wants the name changed just comment here. I'll give this a week from today to see how many people vote for and against it. It is not General Oliver's rifle. It was intended to be used by a sniper in Oliver's compound, hence where the GECK name came from. This is confirmed in the GECK.

Action Points[]

The AP in the GECK reads 0; however, this is unlikely to be correct. I intend to test it ingame to see if I can get the proper value. --Kris 01:57, July 26, 2011 (UTC)

 I wouldn't consider this cut content; maybe content that was supposed to be available to players at one point but was redacted; they're still using it in the game. It's no more cut content than the auto-kill chinese assault rifle from O:A or any other scenario-specific weapon. --Legionaire47 (talk) 21:15, December 9, 2014 (UTC)
