Revision as of 17:32, 24 October 2010

I heard on a demo from IGN that Mr. Holdout sells switchblades, though I think this may have been an error of one of the staff members, I thought I should mention it, as I haven't actually seen a 'razor', and switchblades, can be copied from Fallout 3 with probable ease.

i think the rasor is af uniq combatknif

^^^ To the unsigned horrible speller, you might be thinking of Occam's Razor from Fallout 3. An actual razor blade is nothing like a combat knife. RadRuler 22:34, September 30, 2010 (UTC)

I'm thinking it'll be like a barber's straight razor...--Billytheboy 22:40, September 30, 2010 (UTC)

Wow.

Okay, just to make this clear: the term "holdout" refers to cards and cards only. I keep changing the notes, but certain people keep changing them back. Here is a link to the definition: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holdout. Here is another: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/holdout. And no, the fact that you hide things that aren't cards does not change the meaning of the word in any way. Its just a reference, because "Mr. Concealable Weapons For The Casino" just isn't as subtle. Now please stop putting up misinformation. RadRuler 21:12, October 1, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for clarifying. The entry as it is now makes sense. I'd like to point out that adding the phrase "especially referring to cards" to an entry about weapons wasn't helping anyone.--Gothemasticator 21:37, October 1, 2010 (UTC)
No problem. You're right, it's probably better this way, since his name conveys the intended shadyness anyways without adding in obscure gambling jargon. RadRuler 23:01, October 1, 2010 (UTC)

Location

I have seen Mr Holdout at the Gomorrah Casino and not at the Tops. Is this a glitch in my game or is his location on the wiki wrong?

I also found him leaning against the Gomorrah, not near the Tops. I'm going to change it until confirmed otherwise. 24.94.234.147 17:31, October 24, 2010 (UTC)
