Sexuality[]
Is there any source on the possible inferring of Mel being gay, as noted in the Trivia? If not, it should be removed as it would be a theory or opinion rather than any form of fact which is not the purpose of this wiki. - I'm late to this, but after having done playthroughs on both genders, I realize that he only responds flirtatiously to the male character. Unless someone can produce evidence of him saying something flirtatious to the female SS, I am thinking of changing the language to reflect that he has a differential response to the male compared to female player character. We can avoid labels but given the evidence available to me it's inaccurate to say that he is flirtatious with both genders when he has completely different, much cooler responses to the female PC. Relevant lines are the sarcastic option upon first encountering him in his jail cell, the sarcastic option upon talking to him outside of Diamond City Security, his conversation with Bobbi No-Nose that the player overhears upon entering The Dig for the first time after releasing him, and his statement in dialogue while proceeding through the dungeon that the route, which Bobbi described as a "straight shot," is about as straight as him with a bent rifle.
