Prerequisite to find the Freefall Legs?[edit source]

I just cleared the lower part of the building when I was randomly walking around in the city. When I finished all the gunners there, I used the console command to enable "flying" out of curiosity and explored the higher levels. I found the chamber with the computer terminal with the backstory and the safe, but the safe did not contain the Freefall Legs. Only some random ammunition, pre-war money, and a modded gun. I am currently level 22 and my main story quest is to go to doctor Amari (beginning of "Dangerous Minds"). Is it possible for other players to find the Legs that early?

Odds are the loot doesn't spawn until you get the quest to properly reach that part of the building. This is true for a lot of things in Bethesda RPG's, but it's only speculation at this point, as we cannot look to see using the not yet released CK/GECK for the game. You can get to the freefall legs with the jetpack and without clipping into the walls. There's 3 ledges/rooms in the side of the walls.

Due to confusing viewing angles, I first scouted the upper rooms using the tcl console command. The safe did not have the Freefall Legs in it. I then quit the game without saving to guarantee clearing out the console command, ran the game again, reloaded, and used the X-01 jetpack (with buffjet, jetfuel, mirelurk egg omelette, etc.) to make it up there "legitimately." This time, the Freefall Legs were in the safe. I did not have the Institute quest for the building. Also, I was level 61 at the time, though I don't think that mattered. --GryphonQ (talk) 04:12, December 8, 2015 (UTC)

Fusion Core at the very top?[edit source]

Found a Fusion core at the very top of the building, in a wrecked room. Not sure if it is accessible without TCL, but it might be with a jetpack. Can someone double check to make sure it's not just me? It's one level below where you find the Freefall legs. -- 20:40, January 2, 2016 (UTC)

That alcove with the fusion core is the last stop before you reach the Freefall legs. You're supposed to stop there. --Jasper Kazai (talk) 00:01, February 16, 2016 (UTC)

Main Reactor Bug.[edit source]

I'm not certain why this is, but when entering the main reactor room with just 1000 radiation resistance from a hazmat suit, I receive less than 1 rad per second. When I enter with power armor and enough Rad-X to have over 2000 resistance, I receive over 10 rads per second and my health quickly deteriorates. This happens without the added bonus from Rad-X as well. Could this be a bug?

Another Stealth Boy[edit source]

Found another Stealth Boy on a metal shelf behind an expert locked door. The glass floor room, above the main lobby, has a chemistry station inside the locked door, stealth boy is right next to it. Can anyone verify? Thanks.

Can chimes bug on PC as well[edit source]

"The can chimes on the ground floor do not disappear after collecting them, however you still get XP and tin cans for doing so." - Just happened to me on the PC so I added the icon for PC. HalloweenWeed (talk) 15:26, February 6, 2016 (UTC)

Confirmed. Bodhisattvah (talk) 04:59, February 15, 2016 (UTC)

Notable Loot and Notes[edit source]

14?cb=20131123232001&format=webp If you loot the building before doing the quest, it is possible to get the Power Armor frame by killing the Gunner Commander before he puts it on. I don't think the Mini Nuke spawns until starting the quest, have to verify. If you have already looted it, most of the Junk in the building and items in locked containers will respawn after starting the quest. After completing the quest, the BOS will stay in the upper levels behind locked doors (still trying to figure out what unlocks them, if anything) even after blowing up the Prydwen. GRPeng (talk) 04:00, March 21, 2016 (UTC)

i can confirm the mininuke does spawn before starting the quest. at lever 38 i got a full set of X-01 power armor instead of T-45 --ADMNtek (talk) 19:57, April 10, 2016 (UTC)

Sculpture in Mass Fusion lobby[edit source]

Is it a valid "Behind the scenes" point of trivia to point out that the sculpture of an (apparent) atom in the lobby of the Mass Fusion building is impossible? That is, the stylized sculpture depicts an atom with two electron shells surrounding the "nucleus" (in this case replaced with a globe However, you can clearly see three electrons in each shell, which is physically impossible for the inner shell, as the innermost electron shell (or "K" shell) of any real-world atom cannot have more than 2 electrons in it.

I'm not saying this is necessarily meaningful within the Fallout lore - I mean, theoretically it could indicate anything from the laws of physics being fundamentally different in the Fallout universe, to the Mass Fusion contracting a scientifically-illiterate sculptor, to simple dev oversight, but as a piece of trivia on its own it seems somewhat interesting. MiPod (Talk) 10:22, April 13, 2016 (UTC)

I notice, however, that both shells appear to have two different orbitals, which shouldn't be the case for the inner shell, so perhaps it's just a stylized representation of the fusion of multiple atoms, and some of the orbitals belong to different atoms. This would seem consistent with the name of the building it's in, although I couldn't find any obvious correlation with any combinations of elements commonly associated with nuclear fusion. Oh, good point. I hadn't noticed that! Yeah, probably just stylized and intended to be vaguely representative. And thus not greatly worthy of a proper trivia note. Still kinda interesting though! :) MiPod (Talk) 14:29, April 21, 2016 (UTC)
