You also have the option not to kill his son by Threatening The group when first encountered ,The kid will run away and Squeal on you to Morowski.
-Not confirmed, but if true it should be on quest page or Nelson's page
Not sure if you think this is minor or major, but the guy's name is spelled wrong. The article here uses the common spelling of Malcolm, but the guy in the game spells his name "Malcom" (only one "L"). [edit: nevermind, I see it mentioned in the bugs section. Search on the in-game spelling also brings people here. Leaving for reference.] --DocSilence (talk) 13:15, January 27, 2016 (UTC)
Approval loss/gain Edit
Since I'm pretty sure there are quite a few companions that lose approval if the player denies their involvement, I guess we could either list them or just say "good/lawful" companions will lose approval?
No speech check at all? Edit
I ran into this guy as I was going to pick up a report from the Mayor, after having finished the main quest-line on the side of the institute. I recall that the lift was acting strangely (door was closed at the stops, then opened as it moved off). As I went up to the mayors office in the lift, he suddenly appears and then says something along the lines of "you'll pay for this you son of a bitch!". I got an option (ONE option) to say "is there a problem sir?" and he just repeats his previous line. No option to persuade or anything. I assume that (as usual) something broke?
Don't not have to kill son Edit
During the quest if you kill the triggermen and take down Trish, Nelson Latimer will attempt to run. If he is not killed by the others with you and you immediately talk to Trish, he can get away. I let him go and found him back in Malcolm Latimer's house (after I broke in). 22.214.171.124 01:36, February 24, 2016 (UTC)
