I have to dispute the cleaning out raiders. Everytime I return either overland or fast travel it is repopulated by raiders. I am playing the PC version.

I can also confirm this. The raiders ambush me when I fast travel to the station. This is on 360 with the latest patch.--Mehbah 15:08, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

I have the PC version and I have *never* encountered raiders here after I killed them initially. I have been "living" there for about at least a few weeks in-game. Does leaving frag mines all over the place having anything to do with it being empty maybe? Strange.

does your stuff disappear in this place? cuz i would like to 'live' here ( i cant go into tenpenny suite, game freezes in elevator, weatherly hotel room takes 2 long 2 get there and i cant sleep in the bed) --Masqueradebunny14 05:37, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

A wierd spotting.[]

I was near the MDPL Mass Relay Station, watching the Raiders through my Infiltrator scope when I notice something in the background. I look at it more and it appears to be an all-white humanoid thing. It moved really weird as if it was trying to walk through deep snow or mud.I tried sneaking over to it, but wasn't paying attention and had to fight the Raiders. When I finally got to where I saw it, it was gone and nowhere to be seen. Now it couldn't have gotten far as it was moving a tiny bit faster than an over encumbered character. This is the first time this has happened and I've not seen it since. And if it was just a random encounter, why/how would it be so far away? Also, the only DLC I have is O:A/The Pitt. Does anybody know what it could have been? OPM 08:08, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Mysteriously dead raiders[]

on my approach from the north (side with the makeshift fences up) I caught sight of the raiders blips on my radar, 3 of them, red. i went around the barricade and found all 3 of them already dead, upon looking around (7 perception, and a couple of perception perks) there were no other visible enemies in line of sight, or on radar and no sounds of gunfire or explosions on the other side of fence. (the two inside were alive) NOTE: all this over the span of about 15 seconds from spotting blips, to visibly seeing the dead raiders (XBox 360 console) anyone else experience this phenomenon ?

Names of the stations[]

Does anyone have an idea why are they called VAPL and MDPL? I would like to know. Yukabacera 18:37, March 1, 2010 (UTC)

In response to myself (wow) I think I have an idea: VA and MD as Virginia and Maryland, and PL as Power Line. So it's Virginia Power Line and Maryland Power Line. Makes sense if you ask me. Yukabacera 12:47, March 6, 2010 (UTC)

Should the Stealth Boy be included if it isn't a guaranteed find? The Commonwealth 14:20, March 19, 2010 (UTC)

In Relation To Using Housing[]

How can this location be considered excellent player housing? According to the article it's because of the abundant number of beds(any more than one, who cares), shelves(certainly not an essential requirement), and cabinets(which in the next line says the cabinets reset). It also states the raider respawns inside. In what way is this a good alternative to Megaton, Tenpenny, or even the SuperDuper Mart? That's just what people look for in a headquarters, containers to liquidate their best gear without notice and a reoccurring enemy to wake up to that could potentialy be armed with the player's own MIRV. Is there any standard for determining what makes good housing? Xclockwatcher74.77.133.151 15:12, July 13, 2010 (UTC)

I removed it. Thanks for noticing. In regards to standards, in general, articles should not contain statements of personal opinion, which that note was. Feel free to make such edits yourself.--Gothemasticator 18:47, July 13, 2010 (UTC)

Pile of Corpses?[]

I have been through every rock pile between the station and the gypsy village and cannot locate this pile? Does it really exist there or is it random? Where exactly is it? --24.53.161.178 01:56, August 20, 2012 (UTC)

Visible a short bit the south of MDPL is a small wooden landing over some water with a broken metal shack next to it. The corpse pile is in the rocky area behind the shack and water.86.108.22.28 11:20, February 22, 2014 (UTC)
