The entire Legion force is deaf.[]
Apparently not a single Legion member has ears... I guess those things you see on the side of their heads are just an illusion.

I have the same damn problem. I kill Legion soldiers all the time and rarely find an ear. I'm aware assassins don't carry ears, which is weird by itself, but I have just slaughtered about 20 Legion soldiers tonight. Ears gotten off them? 3 lol....the Legion-Ear mission is a disgusting joke.

Found Without Quest[]
Yeah, so I started a new game, just because I wanted to go caesar's legion. In a house in nipton, the heavily fortified one, there is a dead Legionnaire. I found a Legion Ear (Get it? Legion-Ear? I can confirm this. I just started a new game as well. I went into Nipton as part of Ranger Ghost's quest. I decided to explore all of the buildings this time (I always ignored them in my previous playthroughs). I found two separate Legion soldiers, both of which had an ear on their corpse. I have not gotten anywhere near Camp Forlorn Hope yet, so I definitely haven't initiated Private Sexton's quest. (99.7.252.200 03:29, December 9, 2010 (UTC))
I confirm it as weel, but I found the ear in a cave during the quest given by Red Lucy (I believe it was the cave for the Nightstalker ; I was legion side in this game). So it should answer the questions written on the wiki page
I found one in Bloodbourne Cave while sneaking in there to get a 12.7mm Pistol very early (I'm level 3. Stealth Boys are a lifesaver!). I haven't been anywhere near CFH nor have I started that quest. 68.110.27.209 01:06, April 26, 2011 (UTC)
Respawning Legion soldiers[]
Are there any locations with respawning Legion soldiers? Most "special" soldiers don't drop ears (Cottonwood Cove or Nipton forces), leaving random patrols as the only source of ears...
there is unmarked location that legion will always respawn at, or at least they have every time ive gone to them the first is south-east of Ranger Station Charlie and another one is south-east of Techatticup Mine it has a campfire in the middle and 4 beds in a circle around it there is usually only 4 but sometimes theres 2 or 3 patrolling in the area. Im pretty sure there are more of these camps but i cant remember where ive seen them. oh also these are great places to farm legion recruit and veteran armor and make a lot of money off of that ammo to.
