Weight increase[]

Hey, 89.210.221.179, why do you think that weight increase after hardening is not significant?--dotz 10:39, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

Weight=100 pounds is misteake present eg. on GameBanshee. --dotz 15:57, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

Actually, in Fallout 2, it weighs 50. But in Fallout 1, which I'm looking at as I type this, it definitely has a weight of 100. I corrected the page to reflect this. Fiddlesoup 20:14, January 30, 2010 (UTC)

Density = Weight Increase[]

I was thinking that, if the armor is harder, doesn't that mean it's denser? If you think about the equation for density, which is mass over volume, it makes sense. Since the armor isn't any bigger but is now tougher, it is thus heavier. This explains the increase in weight and the better armor preformance.KnightNapier 20:22, January 30, 2010 (UTC)

     No becuase the mass increases which doesn't directly affect the weight
Mass is how much "stuff" is in an object while Weight is Mass times Gravity or simply W=m*g. In that simple equation, if gravity increases but gravity is the same, weight will still increase.--KnightNapier 21:02, March 21, 2011 (UTC)
