I have no official proof, but could this weapon's name reference the use of cannons in classical music finales, like 1812 Overture?

More likely refers to the end of a fireworks show when they start firing them in rapid succession. Usually called a grand finale, at least in the States. --Skire (talk) 15:44, 4 May 2025 (UTC)
