I've lost enclave radio and GNR how to get it back by PC

bad karma, level 17 is fiend, not harbinger of war. i would change it but i'm not sure what the correct comment is. Fall-in:The Post Nuclear Role Playing Guy 20:39, September 25, 2009 (UTC)

You are right, it says "Fiend" for your karma in pip-boy, but Three Dog still calls you Harbinger of War, as if you still were level 14. Checked both in-game and in GECK. Also, if anyone wants to fill in the missing fields for broken still karma announcements, try opening dialogues in GECK -> Radio -> RadioGNRPlayerKarmaTitles. I filled in evil karma but now I'm feeling lazy. Rist 08:26, October 4, 2009 (UTC)

What triggers this news broad cast. "Those scumbag Slavers way over in Paradise Falls have one big ole bee on their bonnet. Buzz, buzz, buzz, buzz! But Three Dog, the selling of live human beings is completely fucked up! Yes, children. Yes it is. So what was Vault kid doing out there? You do the math."

I think its the news cast for doing both Rescue from Paradise and at least part of Strictly Business. Given it contains elements of both broad casts.

Well in my personal experience, I believe that the broadcast is triggered by completing the Rescue from Paradise without formally accepting it. i.e. as soon as I saw Slaver I went in guns a-blazing without talking to anyone, rescued the slaves then left, and I got the same message, this was also on my 360 should that mean anything --NewWorldEmperor 21:41, October 14, 2009 (UTC)

I have the same issue. When I visited Paradise Falls I started the Strictly Business quest in order to get the Mesmetron (never used it on anyone), got Evil Karma in order to buy Clover, snuck the children out without purchasing them, killed all of the slavers without getting Rory killed and didn't participate in Kid-Kidnapper. I'm pretty sure the game just gets confused with so much going on it invents a new TRUE NEUTRAL karma broadcast. A hybrid if you will.Hamster doom360 06:38, June 23, 2010 (UTC)

Not really. I went to free the Slaves and kill the slavers, and, after I did so, I picked up the Mesmetron off Grouse’s corpse and still got the ‘you do the math’ broadcast. It may have been that I bribed him to get in the first time, so I could sneak in, free the slaves, and THEN shoot up Paradise Falls when everyone’s safe. I ended up hiding Rory back in the Box until the shootout was over, because he’s about as stealthy as a behemoth in power armor. But, yeah, I got the hybrid message too. I’m Very Good, by the way. No evil acts committed in Paradise Falls. SacredSpirit1337 (talk) 14:22, August 27, 2018 (UTC)

Lone Wanderer News Broadcasts Disappear After Level 20? Is it a Bug? Edit

My Very Good Karma Character just reached Level 20 (on 360 console) a couple days ago, however afterwards even though I had finished several quests they were no longer being reported by Three Dog neither were any new quests I completed after, he has occasionally said he has news but make no reference to my character usually it would be a general news item (BoS operations, Ghouls at Tenpenny, The Trees etc.) Is there a reason for this or is it just a bug? And if it is a bug are there any fixes? Again 360 console at level 20 --NewWorldEmperor 21:50, October 14, 2009 (UTC)

It's because you've got Good Karma. Change your Karma to Evil, and all the news should be fixed for all Karma levels.
Go murder everybody in Rivet City. Nitty 21:54, October 14, 2009 (UTC)

Is there any other way, I'd prefer not to go on a murder spree? is it fixed by getting the Broken Steel add-on because I plan to get it this week --NewWorldEmperor 00:13, October 18, 2009 (UTC)

What Happened? Edit

Something went seriously wrong with this page. It could be just my computer but a lot of the stuff is now gibberish. Vandalism?--KnightNapier 17:28, December 31, 2009 (UTC)

Nevermind, it was my browser that glitched. Nothing's wrong--KnightNapier 17:30, December 31, 2009 (UTC)

Liberty PrimeEdit

I heard Three Dog talk about Liberty Prime's "death" just a few minutes ago. Has anyone else heard him talk about it? I finished Death From Above, but I haven't done anything more than take the Tesla Coil yet. This may be only a temporary news report. Ganon12788 07:41, January 1, 2010 (UTC)

You're not the only one. I've yet to hear it, and I've reloaded the game like, 100 times just before Three Dog does one of his broadcasts. I don't hear anything past The Waters of Life related broadcast which would likely be the one that's canceled out after completing Death From Above. And this is 3 years AFTER you posted this. --Christengo (talk) 05:59, August 30, 2013 (UTC)
Ganon! I think I found a bug fix! Did you take the aggressive approach to the "Rescue From Paradise" mission, and when you did, you decided not to bother killing every missable slaver in every Paradise Falls building? When I was roaming around, trying to get all the level 30 achievements, I found myself killing the last of the slavers just for the extra EXP. Then as I was listening for Three Dog's broadcasts, AND HE FINALLY read the post-"Who Dares Wins" broadcast. Of course I could be wrong in the way it was fixed. Other things I did included ruin exploration and getting more locations on my map discovered. I also discovered poor Donovan's corpse in a random encounter along the way. So I wonder about that too. But mainly I think killing all the slavers in "Rescue From Paradise" has the most weight since he DOES mention whether you kill ALL the slavers or not after completing that mission. But I have some saves dating back to before I even went to Raven Rock, so I think I'll experiment a little more on this. --Christengo (talk) 19:48, September 10, 2013 (UTC)

Rescue from Paradise Edit

After completing the Rescue from Paradise quest, by killing all the slavers and rescuing the children (I also released the adult slaves as well), the news report from Three Dog is a bastardized version of two different broadcasts. Half is from the beginning of the escape from paradise quest, then it ends on the last part of the Strictly Business quest report. It states: "Those scumbag Slavers way over in Paradise Falls have one big ole bee on their bonnet. Buzz, buzz, buzz, buzz! Gasp! But Three Dog, the selling of live human beings is completely fucked up! Yes, children. Yes it is. So what was Vault kid doing out there? You do the math." (I didn’t do the strictly business quest, I’m saving that for a neutral/bad karma play through.) ReapTheChaos

Something similar happened to me too with Agatha's Song: "Now, the Lone Wanderer, aka that kid from Vault 101, has done some pretty interesting things, but this one takes the cake. My contacts report that he/she recently went on a highly dangerous excursion to recover -drum roll please - a violin. Oh, but not just any ole violin, children... We're talking Stradivarius here. That's one top o' the line fiddle, you dig? Now here's where the story gets sketchy, in true Capital Wasteland style. Agatha, we love ya. Keep playin', sister. And Vault kid? You've helped make the Capital Wasteland a better place. Hats off, my friend." Any idea why this happens?
Mine made the same report. The ending is a mix match of a couple different ones according to the list. ReapTheChaos 10:27, January 30, 2010 (UTC)

So now I am on a new play through of the game, this time keeping my karma in the neutral to evil range. I rescued the children by not turning paradise falls hostile, and yet again I get the same news announcement as I did above. Can anyone actually confirm that the two announcements listed on the article page are correct? If they are they don’t seem to play on my game no matter how I accomplish the task. ReapTheChaos 00:05, February 12, 2010 (UTC)

Diffrent Person Glitch? Edit

Ok so I have two diffrent games on my account one person good the other bad and I beat the game on the good one but when I was on the bad one Three Dog started talking about the purifier and how it was started and I am on my way to GNR for that mission. Has this ever happen to anyone. By the way it's on X- Box.

That happens when you have broken Steel installed. It’s a glitch. He will begin announcing how the Enclave where kicked out of project purity and how the water is clean and free etc. almost as soon as you begin the game. ReapTheChaos 00:09, February 12, 2010 (UTC)

Why has noone mentioned the announcement of the blown up Citadel? Edit

Heard it on GNR dismorning, said something about 'WHY, WHY, WHY DID IT COME TO THIS VAULT 101?!', with a whole bunch of other stuff.

Can someone expand and put it into the article?

Little Lamplight glitch Edit

for some reason, the only thing three dog would announce about me is the Vault 87 announcement until i activated the purifier. well I didn't activate it, fawkes did, but still... any way to fix this (i've got every DLC except MZ, and i got through using the Average terminal) so i can hear about raven rock blowing up? aside from going to point lookout and coming back, i can't think of anything.Wrpen-99 04:31, March 3, 2010 (UTC)

Transcripts of the Dramas Edit

Can we get someone to write down the scripts for the radio drama? Some people may find that nice. Fruckert 07:36, March 21, 2010 (UTC)

I have a transcript here. The editor is giving me a hard time with the formatting, however. If anyone knows how to properly add this, Ill send you the document. - Redmess 12:20, May 23, 2010 (UTC)
I have added it now, it needs a little cleanup. - Redmess 20:55, May 23, 2010 (UTC)

Bugs/Broadcast Errors overhaul? Edit

I think the bugs and broadcast errors sections should be combined, and there are a few entries concerning the same bug (namely the Broken Steel broadcast before Take it Back!). Also there seems to be a LOT of other bugs that I came across but not mentioned here.

All in all, as a relatively simple feature (reporting the news according to your quest state), GNR really has an absurd amount of bugs. And Bethesda doesn't seeem to be interested in fixing it any time soon. I think they should just make it a news letter which you can read at a news stand/terminal like in Deus Ex. Dimitry clover 03:44, May 7, 2010 (UTC)

for some wierd reason galaxy news radio and enclave radio(dont care bout enclave radio) has disappeared frommy stations list. Any help is apreciated

Anyone experienced the numbers station?

Gender mix-up Edit

When I played as a female, ThreeDog did the Good Karma message about Agatha's violin, but referred to me as "he". Anyone else get this?

Missing Edit

Isn't this song missing from the list?? --PerPenger 14:09, January 27, 2011 (UTC)

Bad karma mesage for doing good??? Edit

I completed the Paradise Falls quest by killing all the Slavers and then setting the slaves free, but on the radio, Three Dog said the message for Bad Karma for 'Strictly buisness' instead. Umm......what? I killed the slavers and I didn't accept Grouse's proposal to mezz and capture slaves for him, so what's going on? I killed the slavers using the console command "kill" for each (cause I just discovered it and I wanted to try it out) and maybe that made it mess up....any ideas? My Karma level still says "very good" and there's a little picture of me as Jesus ( :D ) but people are acting like I'm evil when I talk to them ex: "Don't talk to me, someone might see us." "What? No! Go away!" Any ideas??? 21:42, February 2, 2011 (UTC)GaaraxShukakuIScute70.234.98.37 21:42, February 2, 2011 (UTC)

Similar stuff going on here, I helped Big Town by teaching them Small Arms and fought off the Super Mutants, but Three Dogs says the "The kid could have helped, but didn't; nice going, asshole" segment.
Two things to note: first, Red died during the attack; second, I turned Shorty hostile (and Fawkes killed him) because I wanted the gun I gave him earlier back (Colonel Autumn's laser pistol). From what I read here, "provoking" an NPC and letting a companion finish him off does not result in negative Karma. I didn't get a "you've lost Karma" message either.
My current Karma level is at "Messiah" (the highest) and citizens of Megaton randomly give me things because of good Karma. I activated Project Purity myself, handed in the vial of FEV, killed Tenpenny, killed those evil Ghouls (the rest who turned hostile were handled by Fawkes and Sydney) in Underworld and massacred Paradise Falls (not killing the slaves, of course), Fort Bannister and Evergreen Mills. So why is this happening? Because of Red died or because I induced the death of Shorty? -- 04:52, May 26, 2012 (UTC)

Bug? Edit

Has anyone encountered a "bug" on the PC that I can't hear the music when I talk to someone and most times Three Dog is on very softly in the background. Now it's been a long time since I played my PS3 copy of Fallout GOTY and original but I don't think that it happened on that copy of the situation. Also it may have been my ear playing tricks on me but I think that the sound for the power armor helmet (when the people talk) was different, I can't explain it at the moment. Anyone encounter this and if so is there a way to fix it. I know it doesn't happen in New Vegas for the computer...--Never Rub Another Man's Rubarb 02:43, August 10, 2011 (UTC) (sorry never signed...)

Broken Steel Bug Edit

Man. This bug is really annoying. It's the one where Three Dog lies to the Capital Wasteland, and tells everyone that the Enclave have been defeated and that there's fresh water available WAY before it actually happens. I'm talking as soon as you leave the vault. What an asshole. But seriously, I'm on 360, so I don't think there's any way to fix it. P.S he seems to really like saying it because he says it every time on his "news" segment.

one particular song is stuttering while I'm in a room with a working radio Edit

Yep, one of the instrumental songs is stuttering and sometimes leading to FPS drops while I'm in a room with a radio... It can be solved easily by either turning off the radio or the pipboy radio but I thought its worth mentioning --DannyK92 15:40, August 21, 2011 (UTC)

Liberty Prime Edit

I know for a fact that Three Dog once mentioned the "death" of Liberty Prime, calling him the best soldier ever or something like that. I've never heard other than that one time. Does anyone know anything about it at all? Ganondorf 03:49, September 14, 2011 (UTC)

Don`t switch off the radio near Scribe Bidslay. Edit

xbox. Lvl 23. During the Holy Water Quest and while visiting scribe Bigsley in the Jefferson memorial, if you turn of the Radio emitting anti - Brotherhood of Steel propaganda transmitted from Raven Rock ,all the scribes including Bigsley turn hosile and start shooting at you.The radio is one the shelf opposite Brotherhood scribe Bigsley and it drowns out the conversations betwen the scribes and Bigsley.--1000HrsFallout3 (talk) 01:39, September 30, 2012 (UTC)

If you really want it off, use a Stealth Boy and make sure you are undetected. --FFIX (talk) 00:44, November 23, 2012 (UTC)

Head of State broadcast never heard. Edit

I have never heard the broadcast for completing "Head of State" (the one with the bit about the "amateur abolitionist" in it). Anyone else have this problem? --FFIX (talk) 14:37, November 6, 2012 (UTC)

Song Announcements? Edit

So, for the first time today I've been hearing Three Dog actually comment on what songs he's about to play. Something along the line of "It's Billie Holiday, with 'Crazy He Calls Me'." I've only started hearing it on this new character, after JUST reaching DC for the first time. Anyone know why I haven't heard this until now? FullOnFedora (talk) 22:58, January 20, 2013 (UTC)

Herbert "Daring" Dashwood Episode 4 bugEdit

How do you guys verify this stuff exactly? Is it done through the admins or what? Because I own a PS3 copy of the game and I can tell you right now that the two lines ARE missing in the Transcript. You need me to give you a visual recording? --Christengo (talk) 11:00, August 28, 2013 (UTC)

The G.E.C.K. (editor) contains the written out news segments/stories. If you think we're missing two lines, we'll use the GECK to check it. 19:50, August 28, 2013 (UTC)
Wait, so you're saying that you guys only verify bugs through the editor but not through consumer experience? What's up with that? --Christengo (talk) 05:51, August 30, 2013 (UTC)
Not all bugs are verified by the GECK, no. The one on Sandra Kundanika's page, for example, can be because it's derived from a technical aspect, which can be seen in the GECK, that doesn't check for which side the player sided with, thus allowing the player to talk with her after siding with the slaves as if the player had sided with her. Again, if you think there are lines missing in the transcript, then that can be checked in the GECK. 15:01, August 30, 2013 (UTC)

New Video RequestEdit

Is there any chance we could get a new vid that plays all the news broadcasts? --Christengo (talk) 19:48, August 28, 2013 (UTC)

Nearly five months and still nothing? Is it just a low priority? --Christengo (talk) 01:54, January 13, 2014 (UTC)

News Report on Who Dares Wins?Edit

Was there ever gonna be a post for that? 'Cause I've yet to see it. --Christengo (talk) 11:38, September 6, 2013 (UTC)

Tons of reports were missing from the article, and the page layout and locations of which sections certain reports go is contradicted at some times and confusing. I did a revamp, and now tons of missing reports are there. But also, I moved everything around into the correct places, and added the corresponding subjects for Intros, Song Announcements, Outros, Public Service Announcements, Generic Reports, etc. User Broccoli  OfficialLolGuy  Talk  Blog  16:32, December 8, 2013 (UTC)

what is exactly missing? Edit

i just want to know because i got all GNR (trash) reports and stuff in a folder just waiting to be added Gaming Foxy 17:08, March 27, 2015 (UTC)

We're missing quotes and sound for: The Superhuman Gambit (after completion), Blood Ties (after completion) , Those! (before completion), a generic report about how the Enclave are evil and not here to help people, and most of Three Dog's reactions about the Galaxy News Radio quest except the one that we have up there now (there are multiple depending on karma and whether or not you did or didn't repair the antenna).

We also need sound for some of the Main Quest quotes up there. Hope this helps! Echoes of Fate (talk) 20:14, April 11, 2015 (UTC)

In the references to the player section, Good Karma Paladin Level 12 is wrong. Last, Best Hope of Humanity level 20 is also cut off at the end and it's put in the "later he just says" sound file. Same thing happens in the Neutral section. In the Evil section, Scourge of Humanity Level 20 plays fully, but doesn't even play the "later he just says" sound file. Destroyer Level 18 isn't even registered as a sound file. The Neutral Karma response to both Tenpenny Tower and Agatha's Song is wrong. See about replacing it. -- 07:01, April 19, 2015 (UTC)
