If the upcoming DLC for Fallout 3 follows the same XP formula through level 30 then the values in the table for levels 21 to 30 would be: level 21= 32,500; level 22= 35,700; level 23= 39,050; level 24= 42,550; level 25= 46,200; level 26= 50,000; level 27= 53,950; level 28= 58,050; level 29= 62,300; and level 30= 66,700.
Experience Points for all Fallout[]
Is there a table for all the fallout series? Right now the article seems to focus only on Fallout 3, and also a table would be nice like the one in the discussion area above 80.108.103.172 16:35, 20 March 2009 (UTC)

Pretty big XP bug[]
I just noticed that if you gain XP and level up and then load another save whilst on the skill point screen, you get awarded the xp on both save games. I've tried it a few times and its a consistent bug.
I loaded a save i have just outside vault 101, walked forward and got awarded the 200 xp for completeing the quest and then that obviously made me level up. I picked my skill points and perk, saved the game and then did it again. Only this time upon reaching the skill point menu i pressed start, selected load and then selected my previous save game. Once it loaded up i was awarded another 200 XP points bumping me up to a total of 449 XP instead of the 249 XP i recieved after leaving the vault. The 49 must have came from kills i made within the vault, and the 200 for completeing the quest.
Has anyone else noticed this can be done, it might turn out to be a fairly easy XP exploit? lol.--Greig91 19:21, 29 April 2009 (UTC)
Fallout 3 Chart idea for "How much experience is gained for different tasks?"[]
These tasks include Lockpicking and Hacking (Very Easy-Very Hard), killing different people/creatures, Sandman kills, quests completed, etc (as rows) with columns for difficulty modifiers (Very Easy-Very Hard). Also, maybe some side notes/separate columns or something for modifiers like Well-Rested and Swift LearnerX3+Well-Rested. I have been looking around for something like this, and have not found one. However, I may simply be overlooking something.

Page Name[]
Since this page seems to mainly focus on the XP system in FO3, I think it either needs to be expanded upon or renamed Experience Points (Fallout 3). Hal10k 22:39, September 27, 2010 (UTC)
- Good point. I've set it up for those in the know to come along and expand it. --Kris 22:44, September 27, 2010 (UTC)
Leveling Up FO:NV[]
do you still get experience after level 30 in the base game and if you install the addons does it level you up accordingly? 70.15.66.130 23:25, April 26, 2012 (UTC)
EXP Glitch[]
Gentlemen, I am currently playing through a (heavily modded) new game of Fallout: NV, and I've come across a glitch that downright is making the new game unplayable/unenjoyable. It would seem that the XP required to advance to level 3 are glitched as the number is ridiculously high. When looking at it through the Pipboy, it displays my XP as "830/1000004000". I've tried simply adding a level-up through the console, but that solves very little as the exp required to advance to level 4 would be even higher. Does anyone know of a fix through the console or otherwise for this glitch? It would be greatly appreciated. Shadow hide you. NotXigris 17:42, August 1, 2014 (UTC)
FO4 XP formula[]
Could someone add in the Fallout 4 section that the formula is in Intelligence? I don't know how to do so in a way that won't be reverted. DynV (talk) 09:54, 7 January 2022 (UTC)
