Note errata Edit

The "note" seems to me to make no sense. "The effects of Drugged Water is stackable, this can be used to get unlimited Points toward perception." The problem with this, is the effects are supposedly negative perception. Wouldn't that be unlimited negative perception? Why would you note that? Maybe I don't understand something here. I'm guessing this means when used in conjunction with the Dogmeat duplication exploit on the You're SPECIAL! book. You can only raise a stat this way when its effective value is less than ten. Aya42 (talk) 22:55, January 30, 2016 (UTC)
That's really involved. My guess would have been simply underflow behaviour. Either the number is treated as unsigned, then 0-1 is practically unlimited, or the process has to be repeated until a positive number is reached. But was that tested or is it only speculation? --Alfwyn (talk) 23:45, January 30, 2016 (UTC)
Aya42 you're correct, I've fixed it to where you can get a better understanding. —Preceding unsigned comment added by WeAllGoByeBye (talkcontribs). Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
Seems odd it would be the only consumable with a stacking effect, though. Aya42 (talk) 04:44, January 31, 2016 (UTC)
Aya42 ikr, but this is the only stackable item that I'm aware of. Also, Alfwyn I've tested it and it does indeed work —Preceding unsigned comment added by WeAllGoByeBye (talkcontribs). Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
I think Alfwyn was specifically referring to the proposed underflow exploit, rather than one of many exploits involving the 'Oghma Infinium of Fallout 4'. Aya42 (talk) 04:35, February 1, 2016 (UTC)
that's what I was talking about. jfc you guys are frustrating

I asked if it was tested. Did that now, it definitely stacks but the number is treated as signed, and just displays negative perception. Trying to warp around by drinking several thousand would kill by radiation first. --Alfwyn (talk) 11:19, February 1, 2016 (UTC)

It's just a glitch to raise your perception about 20 extra points, no ones going to do this over 200 times, especially since it still doesn't stack time. You have to wait for the effects to ware off until the correct number shows up of course
