so this mansion really exists?

I think we got a major spoiler in the trailer, there is an explosion from the mansion right in front of the PC in it. I'm 81.234.140.17, Adjust. 11:24, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

Bunker[]

Does anyone know about where the bunker would be before the mansion explodes? I'm just curious as to where it is. I assume it's in his control room, but that's about all I can figure out. 64.111.156.117 07:00, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

Mourning Widow?[]

Behind Calvert Mansion is a bench with a skeleton sitting on it overlooking the sea. It has a pistol in it's hand along with a rose sitting beside it. There's 4 empty whiskey bottles, along with a baby carriage with a teddybear and toy car. There's also a chessboard. I feel like it was a sailor's wife waiting for her husband to come home, she sat there with her baby too. When he failed to return she committed suicide.Berkbelts 17:07, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

Weird Sentence[]

Someone (preferably someone who have Point Lookout, since they will know what to write) need to fix this:

"In the return to Desmond part of Thought Control it is destroyed."

This may just be me, but this sentence doesn't make any god damn sense. That part needs some editing. I'm Norwegian and Angry. 19:05, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

Return to Desmond is an objective in Thought Control. It does get destroyed when you return there. I don't see anything wrong with the sentence. 77.105.22.115 15:18, January 6, 2010 (UTC)

Incorrect Trivia Information[]

The Trivia information is incorrect. Leonard Calvert was the Governor of the Maryland Colony in 1634, but Calvert Mansion in Riversdale (of which this one is supposedly based) wasn't built until 1800, and even then wasn't technically built by a member of the Calvert family, merely finished by one. Here[1] DarkElvis 15:16, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

divergence? Just doing my job. 15:20, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
Maybe. But if the Trivia's going to reference an actual place, it should at least be accurate. DarkElvis 15:24, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
The divergence happened after WW2 ;) Everything before is the same as in the real world. -- Porter21 (talk) 15:44, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
Right. Also, the 1800s Calvert Mansion is known for its collection of art, and Desmond mentions not wanting to use his failsafe device because he does not want to damage the art pieces. DarkElvis 16:10, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

home?[]

After the mansion explodes there is a little bunker beneath it. My question is can you use this safely as a home/2nd home?

Yeah, I do.

Random Loot[]

After the explosion, there is a trash can and a wardrobe in the rubble that can be searched for random loot. Wvurxgal 19:54, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

Punga Experiment[]

If you shoot the punga it will bleed for some weird reason.

It's a fruit, if you shoot it fruit juice comes out. RedMarston 18:47, August 27, 2010 (UTC)

Personal opinions.[]

I’ve edited the following statement on the article page to remove the last portion of it. What is stated is nothing more than personal opinion. The quantity of any item has no reflection on its value and what one player considers valuable is a matter of his/her own personal choice. I have also reworded the rest of the statement. To say that most of the supplies will go into surviving the tribals is again entirely personal opinion based on individual game play technique. It is quite feasible to get through the attack using only what you brought with you. ReapTheChaos 21:49, February 2, 2010 (UTC)

The place is filled with ammunition, and medical supplies, set up by Desmond, though most of it will go into surviving the tribals. In the numerous cupboards are various pre-war outfits, hats, and bonnets, although the quantity is so vast, they almost become worthless.

Storing stuff[]

Am I able to store stuff in the desk at the front of the mansion (inside) without anything disappearing? RedMarston 18:49, August 27, 2010 (UTC)

No, it's not safe to store anything inside, as the mansion is destroyed in the course of the quest. --Kris User Hola 00:52, October 17, 2010 (UTC)
