I have placed the deletion tag on this page, because it only links to an external source. I mean, I could see it staying if it could be copied from that page onto here without a copyright issue, but the article is not needed.Bllasae 21:26, October 20, 2009 (UTC)

They should not be deleted. The design document articles are linked to as references in many Van Buren articles. While they are mostly empty (atlthough I did add a few sentences to it now, like with the other documents) and just link to external sources for now, the plan is to eventually copy all the contents of the documents here. Most of them are Word documents, aren't they? Couldn't we simply save them as HTML, strip out the unnecessary overhead and post them? Assuming it's not a problem copyright-wise, of course. -- Porter21 (talk) 21:53, October 20, 2009 (UTC)
Well, technically speaking, it would be a copyright violation, but, then again, not anymore than having all the FO1 and 2 dialogue files here. However, Bethesda never tried to have these documents taken down from anywhere, and if we add a disclaimer at the top, I think it will be fine. It's not as if GFDL/CC-BY-SA compliance isn't largely fictional on pretty much all fan wikis. If Bethesda (or any other future owner of the copyrights) ever requests them to be taken down, we can always comply then.
As for posting them, I guess it would work, although it would need another huge wikification drive later :). I think they'd be too big to do it in one chunk, though - it would make more sense to divide them into chapters. Ausir(talk) 22:55, October 20, 2009 (UTC)
