Name[]

Shouldn't the name of the article be "Brotherhood of Steel uniform"? ☢ Energy X ☣ 18:33, November 14, 2015 (UTC)

Well the ingame name is literally: "BOS uniform". So yeah you could do that, but it wouldn't be the ingame name of the armor piece. {{SUBST:Signature|Kennyannydenny}} 19:50, November 14, 2015 (UTC)

If we'd apply the in-game usage, thousands of articles would be capped, which is not the case. ☢ Energy X ☣ 19:52, November 14, 2015 (UTC)

Really? I didn't know that. Alright yeah you could change that if you want to, fine by me. I didn't know the makers do that, I always use ingame names. {{SUBST:Signature|Kennyannydenny}} 19:54, November 14, 2015 (UTC)

4th type[]

There's a 4th version of this armor with in-game name "Brotherhood of Steel Uniform" and ID 00148b86 which just uses the same texture as the orange version, but I only know of it from messing with the console so it might just be a remnant file (aka cut content)

It's used for the Rockets' Red Glare quest; the Railroad members give it to you in order to keep you hidden while infiltrating the Prydwyn. It has no special effects or unique appearance, however. SpitzerFX (talk) 16:57, December 2, 2015 (UTC)

Not sure if this is unique to the officer's uniform or in general for all BOS uniforms, but it lets you enter and exit Power Armor as if you were in combat (about twice as fast). Anyone can confirm?

Olive variant[]

So I know Brotherhood soldiers are wearing the olive variant when using combat armor rather than using the orange variant when they wear power armor. Is there anyway to get the olive colored uniform without killing a Brotherhood soldier? 96.247.194.40 00:26, March 15, 2016 (UTC)

Hope their vertibird crashes so you can look their bodies. Or that the combat armored ones drop during a skirmish. Also look for them during the Battle of Bunker Hill. Great Mara (talk) 01:15, March 15, 2016 (UTC)

Naming confusion[]

I think the names BOS uniform for this and BoS uniform for the portable version is not enough of an disambiguation, so maybe choose bracketed add-ons? --93.232.130.140 00:43, April 2, 2016 (UTC)
