Tales of a Junktown Jerky Vendor is a book in Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas.

Characteristics

It is a book containing information about trading, and as such reading it will increase the player's Barter skill.

The very fact that it is called Tales of a Junktown Jerky Vendor indicates that it was created after the war and copies have been in circulation so much as to make their way to the East Coast, far away from the original Junktown.

Fallout 3

Reading this book increases your Barter skill by 1 (2 with Comprehension).

There are only 23 copies of this book available in the game (24 with the Tenpenny Tower glitch) as opposed to the regular 25.

Fallout: New Vegas

Reading this book increases your Barter skill by 3 (4 with Comprehension).
