The T-51b power armor is a set of power armor in Fallout 76.
Background[]
Formally designated Powered Infantry Armor Model T-51, it was created by West Tek under contract from the United States government, and represented the company's single largest contract.[1] Following a ten year development cycle, the T-51 finally entered service in June 2076, after final testing at Fort Strong.[2] The newly equipped units proved incredibly effective against People's Liberation Army forces,[Non-game 1] and were instrumental to the success of Battle of Anchorage, commonly thought to be the series' debut on the battlefield.[3][4] In particular, their use minimized casualties sustained by the military in the attack.[5] It remains prized after the Great War for its protective qualities.[3]
Grafton Steel attempted to create their own variant, codenamed Project Phoenix, resulting in a helmet reaching the prototype stage before the war.[6] With the exception of T-65, it has the highest damage resistance and lowest radiation resistance of any power armor suit.

1 The resistance values do not include the underlying power armor chassis's resistances.
2 Each equipped piece of power armor negates a fixed percentage of weapon damage and radiation, which stacks across all six potentially equipped pieces.
3 While equipped on a power armor chassis, power armor pieces have no weight, though the chassis itself will still maintain its own standard weight.
4 When crafted without using any buffs to enhance crafted durability.

The Chinese resources are strained to the breaking point, and the supply lines from the nations China has annexed begin to break down."
