- Let your home team know your plan:
- WHO are you with
- WHEN do you plan to return
- HOW you are getting around
- WHAT kind of equipment you have with you
- Stick to your plan; if you deviate from it make sure you update your home team.
- Bring double the amount of food and water you expect to use
- Exercise good judgement. If you feel lost or injured, get to safety immediately and seek assistance.
