Sundews are trees found within the Cranberry Bog of Appalachia.
Characteristics[]
Sundews are large trees, which have several large, reddish-pink sundew plants attached to them.[1] They typically coalesce into large groves. When approached, the individual trees can unleash a shower of dust and spores, capable of causing disease if protection against airborne hazards is not being worn.
Behind the scenes[]
The sundew plants on the trees resemble the appearance of the real-world sundews, several carnivorous species of plants, some of which are native to the Cranberry Glades of West Virginia.
