The Thompson submachine gun,[1] or simply submachine gun, is a weapon in Fallout 76.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]
A rapid-fire weapon firing .45 caliber rounds, the submachine gun is a relatively common sight in Appalachia. Best used to put as many bullets as possible downrange as quickly as possible, its high fire rate is balanced by lower damage.

- One can found next to a dead Fire Breather in Belching Betty.
- One can be found inside Big Bend Tunnel, on a desk inside a wooden shack on the north track.
- One can be found at Camden Park, inside a Picklock 2 door to a closed booth near vendor bot Chad.
- One can be found at Cranberry glade, on a bench covered by a roof.
- One is often found within Fort Defiance on the third floor, locked behind a small armory.
- One can found in Ingram Mansion on the second floor.
- One can be found on the eastern side of the Seneca Gang camp, next to a raider corpse.
